Either situation, Jenni Black is the person you must seek out from the Playa Real Estate Group.Over the very short period of time, the working relationship Jenni created was one of trust, support of our mission and care.She presented numerous condo’s (pre-construction, newly built and resales) and was readily available to answer all our questions. Her knowledge of the area, buildings and developers was excellent in assisting with our decision making process.The search was all performed remotely from our home in the states but using WhatsApp and Zoom meetings it felt like we were there. Jenni genuinely takes care of you. We made a trip to Playa after our sales proposal was accepted. Jenni had a tour scheduled for our condo in construction and she coordinated meeting our lawyer at the same time. I live in Playa del Carmen and was looking for Condo to live. Nancy helped me to find my dream appartment. I have met some real estate agents but stuck with Nancy because she was professional, reliable, allways on time, and never tried to sell me things i didnt want or need. I got the appartment 2 months ago and everything worked out great so far. Aimee Rojas was very responsive and professional. We were traveling from outside the country and we had already developed great rapport prior to us landing in Mexico (via email and text). We even got a sneak peak at some of the places she was going to show us. Since we weren’t very familiar with the area it was great having a local “guide” who knew the area and we also felt she was looking out for our best interest. I am a US based buyer who has been searching for the perfect vacation home. I came across quite a few agents on Instagram and some online review sites but quickly realized how hard it would be to find the perfect agent. After wasting weeks with agents who kept peddling and pushing the same developer condos over and over (clearly motivated by relationships rather than by fulfilling my search requirements), I dug deeper and found Playa Real Estate Group. I was able to hop on a call with Jason, explained what I was looking for and was paired up with Tracy.Tracy met my wife and I up the next day and took us to a mix of listings that let us know off the bat that she had our best interest at heart. As busy as she is, she was present, helpful, asked the right questions, and clearly cares to represent our interest. In a sales-y filled industry in a sales-y heavy town, she cut through the BS and condensed the heavy lingo into real terms that highlighted real pros and cons of each development and listing. She is not someone who will let you fall in love with something just to cash in a commission check if she senses somethings not checking out and that to me is an ultimate character skill Tracy possesses.Once we found the ideal home, she worked to help us investigate and research policies, tax implications, and even furniture stores. She was present during the pre-sale deposit transaction making sure everything was done to protect us. And even though we weren’t in the country for most of the process, she made sure we felt totally present.Can’t thank Tracy enough for her support and professionalism. 10/10 recommend!

We have worked with Tony Rabachuk, who is highly professional real estate agent with a lot of knowledge of local culture and customs.We contacted him via internet. He picked us up from the resort, we were staying in the Riviera Maya, and introduced us to the beautiful Puerto Aventuras. Tony showed us a variety of properties there and really helped to make a decision to buy our condo. He negotiated a few details for us and guided trough the whole process of buying property in Mexico.Tony is a very nice person. Our condo is still under construction, so he goes to the construction site to take pictures and videos and sends us the progress report. We met Mike Burgoyne at this agency in October 2020 to initially get to know the Rivera Maya area. We had no intentions of finding “the perfect house” our first time out. We live in the U.S. and so prior to going to MX, we communicated with Mike via WhatsApp, email and then Zoom and expressed our desires in a MX home. Mike heard every request we made. After just two days with him in MX, Mike not only showed us multiple properties in various towns/cities and several different types of listings (condos, stand-alone homes, pre-construction, …) but he found The Perfect House for our family. Since then our communication with Mike has been spot-on. He is quick to reply, detail-oriented, the perfect professional, and very knowledgeable. Purchasing property in another country made us nervous, but Mike’s friendly demeanor and level of knowledge put us at ease. He is by far the best realtor we’ve ever worked with anywhere – including realtors we have experience with in the U.S. During our home search we came into contact with other realtors at their listings that knew Mike. Two years ago we reached out to Marisol of Playa Real Estate Group. Prior to our visit, she was super helpful in sending us potential condos to look at and providing information about each area relative to what we were looking for. In January 2020, we extended our annual golf trip to Cancún Mexico area as we wanted to look at buying a property there. After searching on-line and reading reviews, we chose Playa Real Estate Group – Playa del Carmen Real Estate and booked an appointment with Irene Soto. We were so delighted that we did. From the moment she first introduced herself we were immediately impressed with her professionalism, openness and friendliness. She immediately made us feel welcomed and appreciated.Irene picked us up at our hotel, right on time, and devoted her entire day to us to help us find the perfect property. She had done her homework and had lined up several properties that met our requirements. Not once did we ever feel pressured or expected to buy what she showed us. It felt like a day of hanging out with friends. [email protected] Irene is bilingual, she was able to communicate efficiently with the locals and translate so both sides understood. Her strong direct approach was enlightening as she ensured that all our questions were answered to our satisfaction, and she ensured we were content before moving on. Without a doubt, Irene is the person you want on your side. When we were not getting the responses we wanted from one property manager, Irene did not hesitate to call the owner of Playa del Carmen Real Estate, Jason Waller. Jason dropped everything to come to the property to assist us and escalate the concerns to ensure we were comfortable with the details. Very impressive service! Both Irene and Jason have worked extremely hard to ensure every detail was perfect! We can’t thank you enough!In the end we have purchased a beautiful condo that is being built just yards from the beach and a quick scoot to the golf course. A PERFECT spot! The best part of the deal is that we now also have lifetime friends with Jason & Irene and will enjoy spending lots of time with them in our new home.Without a doubt, Playa Real Estate Group is the best real estate group we have ever worked with in the US, Canada or Mexico! I just bought my SECOND condo with Playa Real Estate group, thanks to Jason Waller and Irene Soto. Yet again, I was the FIRST to the line to pick from the best available inventory, and they continue to deliver professional, honest, and thorough service through the end. So many other agencies are last to the punch…and they are always FIRST in line thanks to their deep relationships in Playa. Both projects are a dream come true, and only with reputable developers (they have a very high standard on who they recommend to their clients). Marisol was a very good agent making the sale and keeping me up to date along the way. Jason, the owner was always in the loop and helping the entire way. He went above his requirement and helped overcome some unexpected expenses. Feeling secure while buying or selling in another country was the most difficult thing for me. He made sure everything went smooth!

I cannot rate Playa Real Estate Group and our Real Estate agent Matt highly enough.After deciding to put our house in Puerto Aventuras on the market we contacted a few agencies and their approach was lackluster to say the least.It was a totally different story when we contacted Playa Real Estate Group. My wife and I are considering buying a condo in Playa del Carmen. We flew there last week and met with Irene Soto. It was a delightful experience. After we had a short conversation to determine what we wanted, Irene took us to six special condos very close to the beach. She did this in just over two hours. Quite remarkable. She answered many of our questions and arranged to meet with a title lawyer to answer more questions. She is outgoing and obviously on good terms with owners and their representatives. It was a high point to our vacation.

We worked with Jason for years before finally taking the leap and buying in Playa. Every vacation for 3+ years we spent a day house hunting and Jason took us to as many properties as we wanted. He knew the other realtors and had our appointments set up so that all went quickly and smoothly. He was the one that recommended the property that we eventually bought and helped us negotiate so that it fit our budget. Very laid back friendly guy. He knows the area and the players in the market. Best on the beach., probably in country. Was so helpful, low pressure, accommodating, and a pleasure to work with. Whatever we needed, he provided. Both Jason and Sandra were so delightful and full of important information before, during and after the sale. I have worked with a lot of realtors and Jason epitomizes professionalism. If you need something, he’s your guy. I’m only sorry that five stars is the most you can give. I’d do 10.
